“Attention to detail” characterizes the manner in which Osteria Villafredda blends the gastronomic elements of a typical Friulian inn with charming antiques and local décor to make it an interesting and enjoyable place to dine. The dining room boasts a “fogolar”, the typical Friulian fireplace for cold winter evenings, and the arbor is suited for dining during sultry summer evenings. The landscape is remarkable, located in the first foothills of the Alps.
Braidot family has been managing this restaurant for several years: Luca in the kitchen and his wife, Barbara, in the dining room. The cuisine features authentic Friulian dishes that are faithfully reproduced from old recipes.
The wine cellar offers a broad selection from the best Friulian wineries, with a keen eye toward value for the price. The “house wine” also comes from the Braidot's family, as his brother Mauro makes the wine from organic grapes, giving the inn a wine of high quality.
